Award Winning Transformation

We provided comprehensive design and support services for the remodel and expansion of Fire District No. 11'sStation 11-2. Initially a simple masonry rural fire engine bay, the project evolved into a 5,000+ sq. ft. full-service station.

The existing engine bay underwent extensive remodeling, and the new addition included a kitchen, dining and dayroom, office, firefighter quarters, an EMS/decontamination room, storage, and backup generator.

Despite the challenges of a small site with a septic system and wetland streams, the project achieved national recognition, winning a design award in the "renovations" category of the Fire Chief's Station Style Design Awards competition— a testament to the balance of pragmatism and forward-thinking solutions we've become increasingly known for.
